Google Docs colors all over Power Point’s face… still probably finds itself blocked by your corporate proxies.
As another new year approaches it’s hard to predict what tech wonders will greet us. This year has seen the emergence of the iPad, 3D televisions, Android OS, and much more. So, take a stab at beeing the oracle of the upcoming - what advances in technology or emerging tech trends do you think 2011 will bring?
We’ll gather and aggregate your responses and update everyone in time for Christmas.

What will be the big thing next year? Or, what do you want to see?

I guess every handset maker out there (even the ones I didn’t know were working on handsets) is trying to come up with something that will set them apart from the competition. Blackberry has their world-leading enterprise integration and keyboards, Apple revolutionized the touchscreen, HTC super-sized the screen (Evo 4G), then there are the endless varieties of slider, flip-phone, etc. This is the first translucent, color LCD screen I’ve seen on a phone though.
The problem is - I don’t know why you’d want such a thing? (Please don’t tell me this is so you can text and drive while still seeing the road.)
I guess the Lenovo S800 possesses a possible ‘cool’ factor, but just imagine trying to type a message or view a MMS on the phone, let alone watch a movie or view anything on the web. Maybe the ability to view text against a solid background is somewhat overrated.

Am I missing something here? Who wants one?
