You win, Zoosk.com. This commercial is really funny, but the guy who gets hit with the dart sells it.
Volkswagen gets down and nerdy.
I don’t want this to turn into too much of a rant, but I’m absolutely sick and tired of ever-growing barrage of ads served up to my browser, not just as I scroll a page, but from the top down as the page loads! I haven’t been happy about having to watch a 30 second ad any time I want to watch a 15 second video clip, but I understand that I’m paying up for the content. These aren’t shoddy malware-infested, pop-up crazy, spam sites either. I’m talking about ESPN.com and NYT.com. WTF!?

Why, NYT, why? You’re a giant publication. Maybe your paper-based format is dying, but people are going to stop visiting your online site too if you’re going to beat me over the head with Tiffany before I can even read a single headline!

ESPN… you’re the WORST! For years you’ve held back content unless people cough up for an ‘Insider’ subscription. Every segment you host is sponsored. But this!? You might as well throw two or three full-screen pop-ups at me. Hell, Rick-Roll me. Anything would be better than taking over my browser in the name of Apple.
Anybody want to join me (and my browser) for a little old-school text-only browsing?
After sharing the Windows Phone commercial which promises to use our phones to liberate us from our phones; we also decided it might be worth showing this Virgin Mobile ad, which celebrates the decadent wireless lifestyle we are growing accustomed to.
How do you use your phone to stay connected at all the wrong times?
From the hilarious department: the newest GEICO commercial which features a drill sergeant therapist that may well be R. Lee Ermey. While I thought the Charlie Daniels commercial was decent, the “too tall” and Elmer Fudd commercials just didn’t resonate. That being said, this one is pure genius.
Exhibited Nerdiness: Unknown, but I don’t care I think it’s funny… do you?
