We’ve voiced concerns before about Space Junk, and the problems it will pose for the future of our planet.  Nonetheless, there is little more exciting than a space launch.

It appears that while India does not want to be left out of the space race, they have had some bad luck when it comes to launching satellites, and are not contributing to the problem in the same way that the Chinese are.

The failure rate of Geo-synchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV) flights from Sriharikota is now 5 of the last 8.  Could Six-Sigma fix this?
